GE Ventures team intern openings

From the GE Website:

The Associate Intern will assist the GE Ventures team on projects evaluating investment opportunities in a specific sector of Energy. By the end of the 3-4 month internship, the individual will have developed an understanding of potential investment opportunities associated with the sector, and will have summarized the research in a document and present insights to the GE Ventures team.

Financial Aid for GREEN study abroad experience in Iceland available!

The College of EMS is offering funding assistance for an exciting travel opportunity that combines renewable
energy and sustainability education in an international setting. The program, Global Renewable Energy
Education Network (GREEN), takes EMS students on a 10-day experience to Iceland over the summer
break. Funding is available for a select group of students. The funding will be $2,500/student toward the cost of
the program.

LionPATH will replace eLion as the new student system. All students will be scheduling Fall 2016 classes in LionPATH.

Log in to the LionPATH, agree to do business electronically, and complete the Pre-Registration Activity Guide in the To Do List box. You'll need to do these things before you can schedule courses. As you work with your adviser to plan your fall semester, use the new Schedule Builder to search for classes and compare possible scheduling combinations; or use the Search for Classes feature.

Penn State Energy Days

Penn State is hosting a symposium on May 19-20, 2016 at Penn State Law’s Katz Building on the University Park Campus. The purpose is to bring energy leaders together across the spectrum of technology, economics, law and regulation to discuss critical issues and identify what Penn State could do to help meet future needs.

Who should attend: Industry leaders and private companies; government officials (federal, state, local); non-governmental organizations; Penn State faculty and staff; general public
