Energypath is the region's largest sustainable energy event attracting industry professionals, policymakers and academia throughout the region and across the United States.

Energypath is a week-long event consists of a three day pre-conference energy camp and a two day conference.  The energy camps are hands-on training in renewable energy technologies such as wind, solar pv, bioenergy, passive house, and micro-hydro. 

SEF and West Penn Power sponsor Energy Innovation Competition

Sustainable Energy Fund and joint sponsor West Penn Power Sustainable Energy Fund announce the creation of Energy Sprout, a competition open to all Pennsylvania residents, businesses, and communities with the goal of developing new technology and business models that lead to improved sustainable energy solutions.

Penn State's Strategic Plan Draft Includes "Stewarding Our Planet's Resources" as a Priority

Penn State's newly released draft Strategic Plan approved yesterday by the Board of Trustees mentions climate change multiple times, with one of its five thematic priorities listed as "stewarding our planet's resources."

The Plan also lists climate change and sustainability as emerging topics in the transformation of education.

Climate Action Now (CAN) leadership program - Lancaster, PA

In the fall of 2015, the Center for Ecological Living and Learning (CELL) set sail from Portland, Maine to embark on a Climate Action Now (CAN) leadership program at colleges along the east coast of the U.S. empowering college students and community members to take action on their campuses and in their local communities to reduce carbon pollution while developing sensible, sustainable alternatives to burning fossil fuel.
