Zero Waste Specialist
The Zero Waste Specialist will work with the Zero Waste Events Manager to implement waste avoidance and diversion strategies at nearly 100 public events in the Pittsburgh area. This is a hands on seasonal position that provides an exciting opportunity to dive into the field of Zero Waste. The ZWS will actively engage the public, event hosts and vendors in recovering materials for composting, reuse and recycling. The position will require frequent weekend and evening work.

Environmental Program Coordinator
PRC's Environmental Program Coordinators implement many of our waste related projects and strategies. This position will help lead the start-up of two exciting new projects and the expansion of a third. These opportunities are the start-up of a 100% Recycled Office Paper Purchasing Cooperative, support of a Commercial Compostables Collection Service and the execution of a 5th round of PRC's Recycling Bin Distribution program. All projects are outward facing and will involve significant contact with new and established PRC partners.
