Job Summary
The NREL Wind Analysis and GIS teams are seeking a Graduate Level Research Intern for a period of approximately 10 weeks. This position will support ongoing efforts to consolidate wind energy resource code and scripts. The successful applicant will be expected to develop code and capabilities to support mesoscale wind resource validation efforts. An interest in wind energy resource data and experience coding in Python are required.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills
Must be enrolled as a full-time student in a degree granting program, or graduated in the past 12 months from an accredited institution.Internship period cannot exceed 12 months past graduation.
Minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.

Preferred Qualifications
Desired qualifications include prior experience working with national scale wind energy datasets in a coding framework.
