AIQUEOUS Internship
Summer-to-Fall Intern
Purpose:
AIQUEOUS, an Austin-based water information technology company, has a project that focuses on energy efficiency (in tandem with water conservation) in new construction for low income multifamily housing. The company is looking for an intern who could perform the following tasks:

Model the space heat energy requirements for various multifamily buildings using the eQuest software program;
- Modify a spreadsheet model to forecast electricity use for various appliances and miscellaneous electric loads in multifamily dwelling units; and
- Compare proposed new construction designs against "high performance" energy codes (i.e., determine compliance for beyond-code new construction).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Familiarity with energy engineering concepts

Ability to read new construction design sets

Aptitude in MS Office

Flexible schedule, ranging from 10-25hrs/week
