Sustainability Projects Coordinator, Dickinson College, Carlisle, PA
Dickinson College is seeking a passionate campus sustainability leader to join the staff of our Center for Sustainability Education (CSE) as our next Projects Coordinator. The Projects Coordinator will create, plan and manage innovative hands-on learning opportunities for undergraduate students; inspire, mentor and! supervise paid student interns and student volunteers in a variety of projects that use the campus as a living laboratory for sustainability; oversee Dickinson’s Handlebar Bike Cooperative; and act as an effective advocate and collaborator for advancing a culture of biking at Dickinson. In addition, the Projects Coordinator will update Dickinson’s greenhouse gas inventory each year, coordinate reporting about Dickinson’s sustainability efforts to external organizations, and assist with other activities that advance Dickinson’s sustainability goals. The Projects Coordinator will function as a liaison between CSE and student organizations, interact with staff from all divisions of the College, and work closely with facilities management staff and administrators. The Projects Coordinator will perform these responsibilities with a high degree of independence and minimal supervision. This is an entry-level position that pays a competitive salary of $32,500 and offers me! dical and other benefits.
