A full-time position located in Dover, Delaware. MAREC’s regional coverage is the area in and around the Mid-Atlantic region, including Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington DC and West Virginia. At the direction of the Executive Director, the Associate will work with policymakers, decision-makers, educators, regional partners, public interest organizations, MAREC member organizations and other stakeholders to provide education on policies that will promote the development of renewable energy technologies in the region and outside the region, but with the ability to deliver electricity to the region. Research, data evaluation, policy analyses and communication are important functions of the position. The Associate will work with members to provide education and communication on a wide range of issues affecting the renewable energy industry with a heavy emphasis on wind energy. The position will assist the Executive Director in achieving prioritized goals in the region. The position will also require significant administrative duties.
