Here's a great opportunity to get engaged in sustainability and connected with other students with similar interests from across the state. PERC's 2015 Student Sustainability Symposium at Bucknell University will allow students (both graduate and undergraduate) to present their work including:
- sustainability related research,
- co-curricular projects,
- creative works,
- action projects and
- community initiatives.
This is also an excellent chance to network with students across the state to promote sustainability collaborations. This year's Symposium will focus on Sustainability in Action: how students have taken and will continue to take action into the future to make their campuses more sustainable.
PERC's Student Sustainability Symposium will take place on Friday, March 27th, 2015 and will feature student driven projects. Specifically, abstract proposals are being accepted until February 28th, 2015 for
- oral presentations,
- round table discussions, and
- posters.
Click HERE to submit an abstract. (Students should know that the form is not daunting: it asks for contact information for authors and a 250 maximum word description of the project.) Proposals should have clear connections to sustainability, which may include social, economic, and/or environmental dimensions.
