A broad coalition of environmental, religious, civil rights, and labor organizations have combined resources to create the People's Climate March to be held in New York City on September 21st in advance of the UN Climate Summit to be held on September 23rd.
Over 500 different organizations with the goal of having hundreds of thousands of people marching in solidarity to stop climate disruption and replace dirty fossil fuels with clean energy prosperity. At least 30 buses will be going from the Philadelphia area alone.
Organizers are saying it could "bend the arc of history!" It will be a unique opportunity to further build and energize the environmental movement.
