Legislative Correspondent Opening - Washington, D.C.

Job opening in Washington, DC:
LEGISLATIVE CORRESPONDENT- Senator Casey seeks a Legislative Correspondent to handle correspondence for issues including, but not limited to, healthcare, aging, and disabilities. This individual will be responsible for drafting all constituent correspondence in their assigned issue areas and providing direct policy support as needed to the Legislative Assistant. The ideal candidate must have superb oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex policy issues into easily understandable language. Successful applicants will be extremely organized and able to effectively manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Pennsylvania ties preferred.
