2014-2015 EMS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
All current students in the College of Earth & Mineral Sciences (either pre-major or declared major) who want to be considered for EMS scholarships for the 2014-2015 academic year must complete the College on-line scholarship application at: http://www.ems.psu.edu/emsscholarships
Historically, modest scholarships ($1000 - $3000) have been awarded to those students with a cumulative GPA > 3.40 (as of the end of the SP14 semester; and always contingent on available funds). But a qualifying GPA alone is not enough. You MUST also submit the application. Every year there are academically strong students who do not receive an EMS scholarship simply because they failed to submit an application!
Please note that some of the EMS academic departments also use this application to identify their own students for departmental awards (Note: some departments have a separate application for their departmental awards -- so monitor your departmental email!).
