PennEnvironment is Hiring!

PennEnvironment is hiring! Right now, we’re looking for summer Climate Organizers and Organizing Directors to help us fight global warming.

Positions available in Colorado, North Carolina and Pennsylvania with similar campaign opportunities available in Iowa, Massachusetts, Maine, Minnesota, New Hampshire and Ohio.

Global warming is the most pressing environmental problem of our time, and if we don’t act now to cut global warming pollution, the consequences for our children will be devastating. This summer we have the best chance in years to cut global warming pollution from power plants.

If you are a graduating senior, recent grad, rising senior or other organizer who may be interested in applying, read more about what our Climate Organizers will do here.

Interested candidates should send a resume and cover letter to me at agarber@pennenvironment.org with “Summer Climate Organizer” in the subject line. The deadline to apply is Friday, April 18th

President Obama has directed his Environmental Protection Agency to develop standards that would cut carbon pollution from power plants -- the single largest source of global warming pollution in the country. Now we’re working to build the public support it will take to make sure these standards become reality, and our window of opportunity to build that support is this summer. If we succeed, this will be a historic step in the fight against global warming.
