Please join us for the 21st webinar in this series on energy efficiency evaluation, measurement, and verification (EM&V). Our panel of experts will present new concepts for improving current practice in the EM&V field, which is undergoing significant change as energy efficiency goals and budgets continue to increase in states around the country.
This webinar will survey three emerging EM&V topics that are relevant to state officials from utility commissions, energy offices, and air quality departments. Speakers and topics for this webinar include:
• Steven Schiller (Schiller Consulting, Inc.) will moderate and provide a brief introduction and overview
• Julie Michals (NEEP EM&V Forum) will discuss a range of emerging regional and national efforts to improve EM&V consistency
• Erin Hult and Annika Todd (Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory) will talk about how “Big Data” – i.e., the analysis of large quantities of energy data from smart meters and other sources – is creating opportunities for EM&V
• Peter Miller (Natural Resources Defense Council) will introduce a new EM&V effort, the California Technical Forum (CTF), and describe the “Regional Energy Deemed Savings and Algorithm Resources”
At the conclusion of the presentations, there will be time for questions from the audience.
