The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) is the national trade association that represents the wind industry and promotes wind power through advocacy, communication, and education. Wind energy in the United States has grown at a healthy pace in recent years. In fact, growth was 30% on average for the past five years, helping the United States serve as a major market for wind energy globally. AWEA is a fast-paced, high-energy organization with a very ambitious agenda and a staff that is highly motivated. This internship may experience high work demands under tight timelines.
