Major Areas of Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Handling customer inquiries for parts and services received by phone, e-mail, fax or mail.
  • Conduct  in-person sales calls to present company capabilities, close a sale and resolve customer issues.
  • Prepare and process quotations in a timely and accurate manner per customer requests.
  • Regular outbound calling to follow-up on quotations to ensure high closure rate, identify opportunities and qualify leads.
  • Maintains pricing data for North American customers and inputs appropriate pricing in Axapta master data.
  • Provides application and product selection assistance.
  • Provides support to Service Sales Manager & Channel Partners.
  • Assist as needed to process customer orders.
  • Understands kk-electronic products, services and capabilities. Familiar with components used in turbine control and electrical systems.
  • Understands the wind energy industry, channels to market, competitors and buying influences.
  • Follows all company policies, procedures and ethical standards.
  • Provides back-up to Customer Service personnel and Distribution Team Lead.
  • Maintain account relationships with key decision-makers at assigned accounts and cultivate long-term relationships at all levels of account organization.
  • Engage in other activities as needed to fully satisfy the customer.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Sales Manager as related to the position.

Skills, Competencies, Experience & Attributes Required:

  • Electrical & electronic educational background with good skills in sales process activities.
  • High level of competence in practical electrical & electronic pricing strategies.
  • Knowledge and experience with control systems, PLCs and industrial computer systems.
  • Work experience related and knowledge of wind turbine control and electrical systems.
  • 2-5 years of inside or outside sales experience in the wind energy industry or related markets selling similar control and electrical systems in a business-to-business environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully communicate electrical & electronic concepts to customers, service providers and engineers.
  • A positive attitude and professional appearance along with the ability to thrive in a small company environment and build strong relationships with co-workers, customers and partners.
  • Successfully perform duties with a sense of urgency.
  • Must be persistent, action-oriented, results-driven and self-motivated.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
