Babcock & Wilcox (B&W) has a long history of investing in the research and development of clean energy technologies. This presentation will highlight B&W’s ongoing R&D efforts in the areas of advanced low-NOx burners, oxy-coal combustion, chemical looping, biomass combustion, emissions control, post-combustion CO2 capture, and others. Specific examples of promising technologies that had been successfully scaled up for commercial offering and installation will be described.
