Sustainability Council?
The
Sustainability Council and the Environmental Studies Program at Penn
State Altoona are seeking an intern who will assist the Council in
disseminating "green" information to the campus population. This intern
will research and write for our e-newsletter, interact with
sustainability contacts across the University, and manage our website
and social media presence. UPark students are welcome to applyprovided that they are able to travel to Altoona on an as-needed (infrequent) basis.
Position Details
Minimum Qualifications: 3.5 GPA; junior academic standing
Time Commitment: 8 weeks x 15 hrs/wk = 120 hrs total
Start Date: January 2013
Skills/Competencies:
- Superb written and interpersonal communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Interest in and knowledge of sustainability issues and concepts
- Familiarity with adding content to websites and social media
