The seventh annual Centre County Farm Tour will take place on Saturday, August 11th from 12:30pm to 5pm. The public will once again have the opportunity to visit local farms and see behind-the-scenes action of our area's food producers.The tour features various locations throughout Centre County. Individual admission to each farm is $5 per car or bicycle. The public can also purchase in advance a tour pass that grants admission to all farms. The cost of the pass is $15 per car or $8 for each person intending to tour the farms by bicycle. Pass holders will be given access to some of the farms outside of tour times, and they will also be given special deals by the partners of the event. Passes can be purchased at area farmers markets during Local Foods Week (August 4-11) at the Buy Fresh Buy Local table. Passes are also being sold at these locations:
