The Advocacy & Policy department at USGBC provides community leaders and policymakers at every level of government with the tools, strategies, and resources they need to inspire action toward a sustainable built environment.

The State and Local Advocacy Intern will provide valuable assistance to the USBGC Advocacy team by helping to track state and local level policies relating to green building and energy-efficient construction, support events, summarize policy information to Advocacy staff, author blogs on developments relevant to USGBC and LEED, and develop materials relating to state and local policy and outreach.

The position is an unpaid full-time internship, minimum 20 hours/week. USGBC is happy to participate in school programs offering credits for internships including completing any required documentation and evaluations. We are currently seeking applicants for Winter-Spring 2021.
