Partners by Nature, Part 2
Climate, Weather and Vulnerable Populations Lunchtime Colloquium

Following the introductory Public Health and Sustainability webinar held in March, Sustainability and Public Health: Partners by Nature, we are pleased to offer this webinar on climate-related public health issues. Join us on Tuesday, June 30, at noon, for a virtual brownbag lunch talk led by Michael Mann, distinguished professor of atmospheric sciences and geosciences at Penn State University, and Ruth McDermott-Levy, director of the Center for Global and Public Health at Villanova University's College of Nursing. Together, they will focus on how climate change is forecast to make changes for Pennsylvania's weather that especially impact vulnerable populations, including the elderly, children, the immuno-compromised, and those living in highly urbanized areas. A conversation will follow about how we can partner to mitigate these impacts.
