Location: Remote
EDGI is hiring a short-term web developer to assist in the maintenance and improvement of two of our websites and to design and implement front end components for the events website. These events are part of an online public research project investigating patterns in violations of federal environmental regulations and the enforcement of environmental laws.
Part time position: 12-15 hours per week
Compensation: $41/hr
Dates: June 15th – August 28th
Qualifications and skills we are looking for:
- Skilled in WordPress web design and development
- Skilled in CSS, HTML, and Python
- Experience in web integration with SQL database
- Familiarity with online collaboration platforms including Slack and Zoom
- Proactivity in organizing, documenting, and communicating effectively with collaborators
- Availability to work across North American time zones during business and off-peak hours to support remote volunteer development community (we use Slack and Zoom extensively)
