The BrightLeaf Group Sustainability Communications team is growing its virtual bench for upcoming projects. We seek Sustainability Writers experienced in writing corporate sustainability reports and desiring project-based assignments. The majority of the work is remote, with occasional travel to client sites.
The Sustainability Writer will play a central role in messaging, writing and producing sustainability reports, including teaming with client subject matter experts and digital production teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write public-facing annual sustainability reports, developing messaging, themes, outlines, long-form and web copy
- Interview subject matter experts, including senior management of large corporations, understanding the data and how best to present the information
- Research client's industry and benchmark industry leaders and competitors
- Develop web and print content strategies
- Collaborate with a talented team of UX and visual designers, editors, web developers and project managers
- Maintain an editorial calendar and manage complex review cycles
