As a solar design specialist, you will work with Green Street’s engineering and business development teams, reporting to the Director of Construction and Engineering. For the business development team, you will be responsible for using geographical and solar access software to design estimated solar systems for our residential sales team. Under the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for designing real commercial solar systems, compliant with city requirements, for projects in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Knowledge of AutoCAD (or a similar design software), strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as on a team are required.
