The successful candidate will have proven experience working in a busy, client focused environment. They will have experience of managing engagement initiatives and communications within a large organisation.
It will be vital for the individual to have excellent communication skills to enable them to build effective relationships and networks with a range of stakeholders. The role will require good team work, as well as the ability to take initiative and responsibility for their work. A passion for sustainability will be essential.
The main duties and responsibilities of the role include:
- Developing and delivering an engagement strategy for students and staff
- Planning and coordinating activities around key events and campaigns
- Planning and delivering the annual London Student Sustainability Conference
- Managing communications around sustainability issues (using social media, blog posts, websites, newsletters, etc.)
- Working closely with the key stakeholders and students to ensure successful delivery of sustainability objectives and projects
