The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE)
Location: Washington, DC
Intern will support ACEEE’s Local Policy Program, providing research, outreach, and administrative support on projects that will advance energy affordability and equitable clean energy policies. The intern will work closely with research analysts to assist on tasks related to equitable energy efficiency policy and program implementation in cities, utility programs serving low-income and multifamily households, and energy affordability issues. The intern will have an opportunity to work on a variety of research activities and reports related to advancing clean energy within cities and utilities. The intern may also contribute to other local policy work on an as-needed basis. The person in this position will gain an understanding how cities and utilities are working to advance equitable clean energy policies as well as efforts to improve energy affordability for households nationally.
