Citizens Campaign for the Environment (CCE) is seeking candidates to advocate for strong legislation to protect our fresh water sources and our environment. Here you can start your career in Environmental Policy, promote environmentally friendly initiatives and make an impact on sustainability in NY.
We work on a variety of issues and are currently focused on passing a ban on single use Styrofoam containers. This step will protect New York waterways from plastic pollution and address the continued production of products from the Petrochemical industry. Other issues we’re currently focused on are fighting the current attack on the EPA, implementing strong renewable energy policy to quickly address climate change, and get NYS to our necessary renewable goals.
