Overview

Amphenol Corporation is seeking candidates to perform general and project-specific Sustainability duties at its PA, NY, or CT locations.

Reporting

Reports to Corporate EHS staff, which may include the Director of EHS or Corporate Sustainability Manager; may also work under direct supervision of other management functions as well

Duties/Responsibilities

 

  • Assume an integral role in the implementation of enterprise Sustainability software (Gensuite) addressing Supply Chain Transparency and a Corporate Part Number database.

 

  • Develop and deliver training materials to ensure Sustainability/Product Stewardship/Supply Chain Transparency software users are well-prepared to employ the systems in accordance with the master implementation schedule.

 

  • Assists with management of company Business Characterization database to include all company owned/leased assets globally.  Provides management of change (MoC) updates as necessary to ensure system remains current.

 

  • Assists with EHS & Sustainability policies review and development of associated guidance documents and training materials.

 

  • Develops and delivers Environmental Management Information System (EMIS), EHS, Sustainability and Product Stewardship training modules.

 

  • Utilize the Sustainable Development Reporting System (SDRS) software for collection/validation of representative Sustainability metrics applicable to Amphenol’s decentralized business structure to support Corporate Social Responsibility reporting.

 

  • Assist with the content review and layout of Amphenol’s annual Sustainability Report.

 

  • Assists with data collection, entry and review of Environmental Social & Governance (ESG) disclosures, such as RobecoSAM and Carbon Disclosure Project.

 

  • Work with Corporate Sustainability team on assessing the impact of emerging Sustainability regulations.

 

  • Assist in evaluation, and eventually selection, of viable Regulatory Content providers capable of delivering EHS, Product Stewardship, Sustainability and Social Responsibility information. 

 

  • Assist with other EHS, Sustainability, Product Stewardship, and Social Responsibility projects as needed.

 

General Responsibilities

·       Personable communication with various sustainability stakeholders (customers, employees, suppliers, customers, governmental agencies, non-governmental organizations – NGOs, etc) related to inquiries and requests for information.

 

·       Collection, maintenance and analysis of relevant sustainability data and metrics. Development of reporting systems, as needed.

 

·       Cross-functional collaboration with the company’s worldwide business areas, related to sustainability activities.

 

·       Performing research, review and analysis for special projects.

 

·       Preparation of necessary administrative, operational and statistical reports for use by internal and/or external organizations.  Must have excellent data visualization capabilities.

 

·       Relationship development and participation on teams in support of sustainability goals and objectives.

 

·       Public speaking, presentations and facilitation of dialogue, as needed.

 

·       Making recommendations for changes to improve performance to stakeholders.

 

·       Assist in monitoring emerging sustainability trends, programs and issues.

 

·       Application of Lean principles and practices in sustainability activities.

·       Familiarity with management systems (Quality, Environmental, Safety or Energy)

·       Proficiency running web-based meetings and large-scale webinars
