Join the World Campus Sustainability Club to hear Paola Ferrario speak about Women and Entrepreneurship!

 

About Paola Ferrario

Paola Ferrario, a native of Asuncion, Paraguay, is a tireless advocate for women and entrepreneurs. She started in the field of advocating for women and entrepreneurs through her interactions with the international community while working as a multilingual interpreter. Seeing a need for advocacy, she drew on her experience and her networking skills to support women and entrepreneurs.

Within the past two years alone she:
• coordinated Asuncion’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, an initiative supported but the United Nations in the framework of the Global Entrepreneurship Week;
• founded and acted as Chief Operating Officer of Challenger Paraguay, which has worked on agricultural technology;
• has served as president of the State Alumni Paraguay, where she works with other elected members to promote US State Department initiatives in Paraguay and globally through the Inter American Network of Alumni (IANAmericas), where she is also a board member;
• and is currently serving on the SXSW Pitch Advisory Board, which evaluates applications for companies that want to present at the SXSW Pitch event in March in Austin, Texas.

Ms. Ferrario has supported and worked with Paraguayan and international policymakers, entrepreneurs, international corporation representatives, and NGO representatives. She knows how to connect women and entrepreneurs with the resources that they need to be successful.
