Study at the University of Auckland!

The University of Auckland has once again selected Penn State as the recipient of 5 student scholarships for the Northern Hemisphere Summer Research Program! On this program, students will conduct a research project under the supervision of a professor at the University of Auckland for eight weeks between June and August. Students will receive s stipend of up to NZ $4,000 and NZ $2,000 towards the cost of travel.

Applications will open on December 21, 2019 with an application deadline of February 4, 2019. In the next 2 weeks, the University of Auckland will update the program website with projects available from research supervisors for 2019. The program is generally open to students from all majors however the project list, will of course include opportunities that are better fits for some majors over others. Last year, projects included topics from engineering, science, to dance.

This is a non-credit opportunity so students do not need to start an application through Global Programs. They will only apply directly through the University of Auckland.
