Participate in the Student Engagement Expo!

The Student Engagement Network (SEN) is hosting the second annual Student Engagement Expo on Wed., Oct. 17, 2018, in the HUB-Robeson Center at University Park! You can be a part of the event in one of two ways:

  1. Show the impact of your engagement experience in the form of a poster
  2. Share your engagement experience story as a lightning round presenter

Poster Session

The poster session will be held in Art Alley (next to the Engagement Space) from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. During this time, 1-2 students will need to be present at their poster to discuss their engagement experience with event attendees. Posters of all engagement types (i.e. research findings, service learning trips, capstone projects, etc.) are welcome. Students who participate will be asked and encouraged to showcase their work the following morning (9:00 - 10:00 a.m.) at the Student Engagement Summit. IF YOU ARE AN ESP STUDENT, please contact Haley for information on setting this up from a distance!

Lightning Round Presentations

Lightning round presentations will take place in Freeman Auditorium from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. They are designed to be similar to TED talks—quick, engaging, and lasting no more than five minutes. Students may present individually or as part of a group, and will speak to how their engagement experience has impacted their life and academic career. Selected presenters will be required to put together their own presentation and participate in both an information and practice session. IF YOU ARE AN ESP STUDENT, please contact Haley for information on setting this up from a distance!
