Clean Energy Mentorship Opportunity

Do The Bright Thing’s Cleantech Connect Project aims to increase the adoption of cleantech by preparing the next generation for careers in the industry. Our goal is to connect participants with professionals in the cleantech space—supplying them with the foundational knowledge they need for a successful career.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for future leaders in the cleantech movement to participate in our Mentorship Program. This means we will be looking for individuals with leadership skills and a passion for cleantech. Participants should be in the early stages of their career—college seniors, recent grads, career switchers, etc.

*Please note that this is a 8-week voluntary (unsalaried) opportunity*

How It Works:

Step 1: Our team will pair you with a cleantech professional for 8 weeks. Throughout these 8 weeks, you will meet with your mentor once per week to discuss specific topical issues that the professional faces in his or her line of work.

Step 2: At the end of the 8 week period you will record and submit a final presentation, which outlines your learnings and thesis for solutions to those topical problems discussed in your informational sessions.

Step 3: Top participants will be selected to present their final presentations at our Symposium—if selected you will have the opportunity to meet with cleantech executives from a wide range of organizations.

The application deadline is September 7th and you can find more information on how to apply here
