BidEnergy is seeking a considerate and organized go-getter to join our RealWinWin energy efficiency rebates team in Philadelphia. We’re an eleven-person group of collaborative, resourceful, and creative self-starters leading our industry in a complex niche business.

We’re hiring for the role of Jr. Analyst, which supports both our client-facing and technical energy efficiency teams in a number of analytical, administrative, customer service, and strategic functions. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, attentive, and inquisitive, yet comfortable with autonomy and letting their work speak for itself. This is a full-time position located in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Success Support: Work with our Account Managers to deliver world class service to our Fortune 500 clients. Weekly tasks include:

    • Managing action items and project data in our project tracking system

    • Accessing, downloading, and organizing project documents - such as construction drawings, utility bills, facility equipment audits, and equipment invoices

    • Data manipulation and analysis - strong Microsoft Excel skills required

    • Phone and email correspondence with clients and clients’ vendors

  • Technical Rebate Support:

    • Analyzing lighting, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment for energy savings and rebate eligibility

    • Estimating rebates and compiling rebate applications

    • Perform energy savings and performance calculations, using industry best practices

    • Researching rebate eligibility and program guidelines across hundreds of programs throughout North America, using the web and phone calls

    • Collaborate with our Utility Managers to develop rebate filing strategies for large multi-site client project initiatives

  • Process optimization: The rebate filing process can be complex. Our team members are superstars when it comes to optimizing complex processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs. A prowess for distillation and simplification will serve well in this role.
