Scholarship Deadline Extended!

The Forum on Black Affairs at Penn State has scholarships available. Deadline is Dec. 22.

Eligibility criteria:

The applicant must currently be a full time, degree-seeking undergraduate student with more than 24 accumulated credit hours and currently enrolled at any Penn State campus and actively engaged in service to the African American community.
In addition, the applicant must be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student during the spring 2017 semester.

The Forum on Black Affairs Education Committee is charged with conducting FOBA business that is of an educational nature. Its star project is the annual Fannie Lou Hamer - W.E.B. DuBois scholarship contest. Currently, one or two scholarships are awarded to top recipients who have excellent scholarship, outstanding service to the African American Community and who write an excellent essay on how the African American Community can improve its collective well being.
