Direct Energy is offerering a Direct Energy Live Brighter Scholarship for those that live in Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, and D.C!
Students have a chance to win one of three prizes:
One scholarship of $5,000
Two scholarships of $2,500 each
But there’s a twist – this is the digital age and if you are tired of endlessly writing essays for scholarship applications, then you can make a video! Everyone has the option to either write an essay OR create a video telling us why they deserve to win.
To enter in this scholarship opportunity, either create a 60-120 second video or write a 500 word essay that responds to the following question: Direct Energy offers the tools and technology to use energy wisely and efficiently. We help our customers take advantage of energy choice to live a brighter life with accessible energy plans, innovative product offerings, engaging customer service, and high-end home services. How do you live your life brighter?
Students to apply you must be at least 18 years old, have a GPA between 3.0-4.0, and be a resident in one of the states where Direct Energy offers energy services in order to apply for this scholarship. These service areas include: Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, and D.C. In addition to the video/essay, you’ll need to submit an official or unofficial transcript as well.
DEADLINE is November 30th, 2017.
