Paul and Marie North are life-long residents of eastern Pennsylvania, and have been interested in energy efficiency and innovation and improvement in housing for a long time. Their interests in passive and active solar technology and energy efficiency date back to the 1970’s when they began to discuss the possibility of building a home that incorporated these features.
